Cartoonist’s Commentary:
I played World of Warcraft (or ‘WoW’ for you non-gamers) for short periods in 2005 and for several years after, but the monotony of some of the quests and not having many friends online the same time as myself made it hard for me to really get into it. Certainly not to the point where it became an obsession. Some of my friends, though… that was a different story. I can definitely understand being blown off for a date with a girl or the like. But hearing something like “sorry I can’t hang out, we’ve got a WoW raid planned this evening”…. ouch. 😉
