Having watched the movie with my kids not that long ago, I found it interesting that it was Chunk’s behavior that stood out for me now much more so than his weight. He’s pretty much the early prototype for many of the most entitled and spoiled Millennials that older generations like to point to these days. You know, the ones that certain older folks take so much glee in pointing out their faults and bashing their whole generation (despite there being a lot of Millennials doing great things). Of course, these same people usually refuse to acknowledge that it was people in THEIR generation that raised these kids that way. And they’re also the ones that get righteously indignant when younger folks question why contribute to a government retirement system that, in all likelihood, will bankrupt itself before their own retirement.

Entitlement is a quality that has no age barrier… 😏
