This comic for me is an amusing reminder of how volatile the cryptocurrency space still is. I drew this comic in late June 2019 when Bitcoin’s price quadrupled in just five months, soaring close to $14,000 and a lot of people getting excessively excited out about it. And not even 20 days later the price drops to just under $10,000 and you see some of the people who were so recently excited about it are now panicking and wanting to get out. So the comic that seemed so relevant a few weeks prior seems a little less so now. But the more amusing part of it is that I’ll probably only have to wait a matter of weeks for it to become relevant again 😁.
