Calling in Sick (Sort Of…)

Yes, it’s Covid. But no it’s not me, but rather my wife. So I’ve been isolating with her for the past week.

The good news is she’s well on the road to recovery now, and also it appears my immunity from getting it a couple months earlier is holding strong. The bad news is a case of writer’s block. Feels a little like the universe is taunting me, “Ok sucker, let’s see how funny you are NOW…”.

Turns out, the answer for today is “not very”. So instead of phoning it with something lame, I’m just gonna take this week off and start fresh next Friday. Later, taters!!!

Good News, Bad News

Well I’ll start off with the good news; Wednesday’s comic is now published and available for viewing!

The bad news? Well, I’m going to be scaling back the comics from twice a week back to once a week. There’s only a finite amount of time in the day, and with making preparations to start up TWO new businesses, something has got to give.

Now that said, I DO anticipate throwing an extra comic every now and then as my schedule & random inspiration allows. I just won’t be able to do it on a regular basis. Hey, nobody said achieving that comfortable level of “f*** you money” was easy… 😉

Taking Time Off For Mongolian New Year!

Despite how it sounds, this is not some made-up excuse to get out of work. This week will kick off the start of the Mongolian New Year, or Tsagaan Sar. Between preparing for that and trying to stay on top of things during this wild cryptocurrency bull run (yeah I know… “rich people problems” 😏), there’s just no time to make comics this week. Plus, there’s typically a lot of vodka flowing during this event, and I don’t think you all want comics drawn-under-the-influence. Or maybe you DO… odds are that most of this core audience is a little bent. 😁
