I used to think that guys were the worst when it came to talking about intimate relationships and encounters. That naive notion died soon after getting a job in an office staffed mostly with women in their 20’s. My office was right next to a big group of them, and perhaps they didn’t realize I could hear most of what they said (or they just didn’t care) because they had some of the raunchiest conversations I’d ever heard. Worse than I’d ever heard around guys. The character Val represents a little bit of that. Or at least as much as can be for a mostly “Safe For Work” webcomic… 😏
