Cartoonist’s Commentary:
For those who are wondering what Jen is sleeping in, it’s one of those neat camping hammocks with a rainfly and mosquito netting. Never had one myself, but some of my friends used them on one of our camping trips on the Crow Pass trail. Sure looked more comfy than my thin mat and sleeping bag.
On a separate note, this strip is inspired by a certain little boy who almost got himself kicked out of our tent during last year’s camping trip. That’s right, you know who you are… 😏
